
Sven Faller
Sven Faller has been performing in Europe and the United States for over 15 years. He has played with Bobby Watson, Johannes Enders, Charlie Mariano, Judy Niemack, Bobby Sanabria’s Afro Cuban Ensemble, Chico Freeman and many others. He studied the double bass at the Conservatories of Linz/Austria and Munich/Germany. After moving to New York in 1994 he completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Contemporary Music at the Mannes School of Music. He then quickly made himself a name as arranger and composer throughout the city. In this context he was able to enjoy collaborations with musicians such as Jane Monheit, Jim Beard, John Pattitucci and the New York Philharmonic.
Now living back in Munich he produced the CD “Vaterland Live” as member of the Konstantin Wecker Band. He further wrote the music to the multiple awardwinning broadcasting design of Showtime USA (silver, New York Festivals and ADC Berlin) and Studio Universal (winner, New York Festivals).
