
Jan Eschke
Jan Eschke was born in 1976 and started taking up piano lessons at the age of 5. From 1992 to 1995 he studied at the ‘Neue Jazz-School Munich’ under Max Neissendorfer and Thomas Reimer. 1994 he was awarded the first prize in the All-State-Youth-Jazzcompetition. His Trio ‘Dreizack’ was further awarded a first prize at the ‘Szene 2000 Competition’ of the Erding Jazzdays. A first prize at the Folkmusic-Competition of the State of Baden-Würtemberg followed in the same year. He has since recorded and played with musicians such as Johannes Enders, Georg Ringsgwandl, Ack van Rooyen, Charly Antolini, Valery Ponomarev, Johannes Faber, Roman Schwaller, Charly Mariano and many others
